The Malone University women's tennis team pocketed a convincing 9-0 victory against The College of Saint Rose (NY) on Tuesday in the squad's second of four scheduled matches in Hilton Head, South Carolina this week.  

The Pioneer win was the first for the squad this spring and lifted their record to 3-17 overall for the 2013-14 campaign. With the loss, Saint Rose fell to 0-10 on the year.

Every Pioneer won in straight sets, including two 6-0, 6-0 victories which were tallied by Asia Harris, at #1, and Kaley Kahoun, at #5.

All three of the team's doubles victories came by the same 8-3 margin.

The Pioneers are off tomorrow but will return to action on Thursday when they take on Brevard College (NC) in an 8:00 a.m. match.
