Match Results

The Malone University women's tennis team lost to non-conference opponent Lewis University (IL) 9-0 in the squad's first spring match of the 2013-14 season at the Green Tennis Club in Green, Ohio Saturday.

With the loss, Malone fell to 2-16 overall on the 13-14 campaign while Lewis improved to 3-1.

While no Pioneer player was able to notch a win against the outstanding Flyer squad on the night, Krista Leonard won two games in her singles match and also won a pair of games in her #3 doubles match (8-2 loss) with teammate Kaley Kahoun.

The team will next compete in four matches during their spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina March 3-7.
