Junior Ryan Roush has earned his first Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week award of the season.

Roush finished third overall in the Southern Indiana Regional Preview out of 118 runners who participated in Saturday's 8k race with a 24:31.3 time. Senior teammate Andrew Trusty finished fourth with a time of 24:44.0. Malone finished second out of nine teams competing in the race.  

Other notable finishes for Roush this season have been placing fourth at the Tommy Evans Invite, sixth at the All-Ohio Championships and fifth at the Disney Classic.

The Malone teams will next compete at the GLIAC Championships, hosted by Tiffin University, on Saturday, November 8^th with the first race set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
