NEW ORLEANS, La. - The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the 2025 honorees from cross country for All-Academic Teams and Athletes.
 
The Pioneers had two All-Academic Athletes in senior Hayden Schmidt and junior Xander Heil. Schmidt is an education major and Heil a sport management major. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
 
The men's and women's programs, under the direction of Head Coach Zach Fresenko, were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams. The Pioneer men had a cumulative grade point average of 3.36 and the women a 3.30.
