CANTON, Ohio - The Malone University cross country programs are in preparations for the 2026 season. The Pioneers are led by Head Coach
Zach Fresenko and are coming off of NCCAA Championship sweeps in 2025.

Malone opens the season with a trio of in-state competitions. The Pioneers travel to the University of Akron on September 4 to participate in the Tommy Evans Invitational, followed by the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic at Cedarville University on September 18 and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Preview Meet at Tiffin University on September 25.

Back-to-back road trips for the Pioneers include a meet at Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina and an eastern-bound venture to Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. The Royals Cross Country Challenge at Queens will be on October 9 and the Go Fast River Run at Lock Haven on October 24.

The postseason begins on November 7 for the G-MAC Championship meet at Tiffin. The Pioneers will look to defend their NCCAA titles on November 13 in Joplin, Missouri, followed by the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships on November 21 for a shot to compete at the NCAA Division II National Championship meet.
