The Malone University women's tennis team split a pair of matches on Wednesday during its spring break trip to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina as the squad lost to Elizabethtown College (PA) 5-4 in a morning match but came back to collect a 9-0 victory over St. Vincent College (PA).  With the 1-1 day, the Pioneers improved to 11-14 on the season.

Against Elizabethtown, Asia Harris (#1), Erika Lester (#2) and Marie Konstan (#6) earned singles wins while Janelle Linder and Kaley Kahoun teamed for a #3 doubles triumph.

In the St. Vincent match, the Pioneers earned their 9-0 win by not dropping a single set in the match.

Malone will close out its Hilton Head trip on Thursday with a match against St. John Fisher (NY) at 1:00 p.m.
