Match Results

The Malone University women's tennis team, in its next-to-last match of the season, dropped a 9-0 decision on the road against GLIAC opponent University of Findlay on Saturday.  With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 2-14 overall (1-12 GLIAC) while the Oilers improved to 4-8 overall (4-8 GLIAC).

In doubles, Asia Harris and Ana Hernandez, at the #2 spot, came the closest to victory as they fell just short in an 8-5 contest. Alexis Hill and Krista Leonard, at #3 doubles, lost by the score of 8-4.

In singles, Harris won the most games with five but fell in a 6-3, 6-2 loss to her Oiler foe.

Malone will close out its season tomorrow (Sunday) when they compete at Hillsdale College (MI) in a 1:00 p.m. contest.
