The Malone University women's tennis team lost a 9-0 decision at GLIAC opponent Wayne State University (MI) on Friday afternoon. With the road loss, the Pioneers fell to 2-13 overall and to 1-11 in the GLIAC while the Warriors improved to 11-1 overall and to 11-1 in GLIAC play.

Asia Harris, at #1 singles, and Christine Miller, at #6 singles, each posted four game victories but fell short in straight sets as the remainder of the squad did against the powerhouse Warrior squad.  Kaley Kahoun, playing at #2 singles, pocketed three game wins in her loss.  In addition, each of the Pioneers' doubles units went down to defeat by an identical 8-1 score.

Malone will next compete at the University of Findlay on Saturday (Oct. 12th) in an 11:00 a.m. contest.
