The Malone University women's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss at Lake Superior State University (MI) on Sunday although several matches came by narrow margins.  With the loss, Malone dropped to 1-2 overall and to 0-2 in GLIAC play while LSSU improved to 5-1 overall and to 3-0 in the GLIAC.
A tough battle at #3 doubles was played out as 
Janelle Linder and 
Alexis Hill lost a hard-fought 8-6 contest. At #2 singles, 
Asia Harris narrowly missed sending her match to a third and final set, dropping the second set by the slim margin of 7-5.
