Competing in its first-ever GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) match, the Malone University women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision at Saginaw Valley State University (MI) on Saturday. With the loss, the Pioneers fell to 1-1 overall and to 0-1 in the GLIAC while SVSU improved to 2-0 overall and to 2-0 in GLIAC play.

Asia Harris posted the only victory for Malone on the day with a 6-3, 7-6 triumph at #2 singles.
