Women's Tennis Earns First GLIAC Win With 9-0 Victory At Lake Erie College; Winning Streak Now At Four

Senior Kim Knisley posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at #2 singles and also earned a #1 doubles victory as Malone posted its first-ever GLIAC win at Lake Erie College by the score of 9-0 on Saturday.


The Malone University women's tennis team collected its first-ever GLIAC victory on Saturday by pocketing a convincing 9-0 win at Lake Erie College. In addition, the squad extended its current winning streak to four matches.  The Pioneers are now 5-7 overall on the season and 1-6 in GLIAC play while Lake Erie dropped to 0-8 (0-8 GLIAC).

At the top of the singles lineup, #1 singles player Asia Harris cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win as all six of Malone's singles victories came in straight sets.
