The Malone University women's tennis team got back on the winning track Wednesday as the squad rolled past The College of Wooster in an away match by the score of 9-0. With the non-conference win, the Pioneers improved to 2-7 overall (0-6 GLIAC) while the Fighting Scots dropped to 0-1.
With the exception of one match, all Pioneer wins came in straight sets with
Erika Lester, at #2 singles, posting a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win. Two other Pioneer singles players and one doubles unit gave up only one game apiece in their victories.

Malone will try to make it two wins in a row when the squad hosts Thiel College (PA) in a 4:30 p.m. match on Friday (a make-up match of a postponement from Sept. 4th).
