The Malone University women's tennis team ran into yet another outstanding GLIAC opponent on Sunday at Northwood University (MI) in the third and final match of three contests in Michigan this weekend.  The Pioneers lost to the Timberwolves, who remained undefeated on the season, by the score of 9-0.  With the loss, Malone fell to 1-7 overall on the year and to 0-6 in GLIAC play while Northwood improved to 5-0 overall and to 5-0 in the GLIAC.

Several matches could have gone either way, though, as Kim Knisley, competing at #3 singles, racked up 10 game wins but came up short in a grueling 6-4, 7-6 loss to her opponent.  In addition, Erika Lester, in the #2 singles spot, battled to a tough 6-4, 6-4 loss.
