The Malone University women's tennis team, after competing in three tough GLIAC contests in northern Michigan last Saturday through Monday, squared off against its second non-conference opponent of the young fall season on Wednesday but fell short to Otterbein University in the home contest by the score of 6-3. With the loss, Malone fell to 1-4 overall on the season (0-3 GLIAC) while Otterbein improved to 2-0 on the year.
Erika Lester and
Kaley Kahoun, competing at #2 and #4 singles, respectively, earned singles wins for the Pioneers while the #3 doubles team of
Asia Harris and
Marie Konstan captured a doubles victory for the Malone.
