The Malone University women's tennis team pocketed a convincing 8-1 home decision over visiting Geneva College (PA) on Thursday in the Pioneers' fall season opener.  Malone now stands at 1-0 on the campaign while Geneva, also competing in its season opener, is now 0-1.

Newcomers Erika Lester and Asia Harris, both freshmen from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, provided convincing straight set wins at #1 and #2 singles, respectively, while all other Pioneer wins on the match also came in straight sets.
