The dramatic upward climb of the Malone University women's tennis continued Thursday as the Pioneers defeated Capital University 9-0 in a home contest at the Harvard Courts in Canton. The win marked the team's second straight 9-0 victory, their fourth straight win overall and their sixth in the last seven outings.
With the win, Malone now stands at 7-5 overall for the year while Capital dropped to 1-6 on the season.
Not only did the victory against Capital come by a 9-0 score but the Pioneers also did not drop a single set along the way.
