Women's Tennis Team Blanks Carlow 9-0 In Away Contest For Fifth Win In Last Six Matches

Sophomore Kaley Kahoun, playing at #3 singles, was one of three singles players who posted a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win over a Carlow opponent as Malone won 9-0 on Thursday.



The Malone University women's tennis team posted a convincing 9-0 victory on the road against Carlow (PA) University on Thursday to collect its fifth win over the last six matches played.  With the blanking of its opponent, Malone improved its record to 6-5 overall on the season while the Celtics' loss was their first match played this season.

All six of the Malone singles matches were won in straight sets while three players, Alanna Phillips at #2, Kaley Kahoun at #3, and Julianna Blaisdell at #6, each won by the score of 6-0, 6-0.
