The Malone University women's tennis team hosted Lake Superior State (MI) University at the Green Tennis Center in Uniontown, Ohio on Monday but lost to the visiting Lakers 8-1. With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 1-3 overall for the 2011-2012 year while Lake Superior State improved to 14-8 on the season.

Janelle Linder and Marie Konstan, playing at #3 doubles, earned the Pioneers' lone win on the day by a score of 8-5.
