The Malone University women's tennis team closed out its fall season on Sunday with an 8-1 home loss to Hillsdale College (MI). At the Green Tennis Club in Green, Ohio, the Pioneers completed their season with an overall record of 7-13 and finished with a 2-12 mark in their first season in the GLIAC.  With its win, Hillsdale improved to 9-4 overall and to 9-4 in GLIAC play.

The Malone #3 doubles unit of Asia Harris and Marie Konstan earned the lone win for the squad as they edged their Charger opponents by an 8-6 count.  Janelle Linder, at #5 singles, and Konstan, at #6 singles, took their opponents to three sets but each fell just short in their third and final sets at 1-0.
