Women's Tennis Drops Match To Otterbein 8-1

Kaley Kahoun posted the only win for Malone against Otterbein.


The Malone University women's tennis team lost an 8-1 contest to Otterbein University in an away match on Tuesday, which was the first one for the women this fall season.

Sophomore Kaley Kahoun picked up the only win for Malone playing third singles in a grueling 6-4, 1-6, 10-7 match. Senior Alanna Phillips nearly picked up a win losing in a close 6-4, 6-2 match at first singles. At fifth singles, sophomore Janelle Linder lost by a narrow margin in two sets at 6-3, 6-2.
