The Malone University women's tennis team lost an 8-1 contest to American Mideast Conference rival Walsh University in an away contest on Thursday. With the loss, Malone dropped to 2-10 overall on the season (1-3 AMC) while Walsh improved to 8-10 overall (5-0 AMC).
Senior
Lauren Armbrust, competing at #4 singles, picked up the only Malone win on the day as she notched a straight set 6-3, 6-3 victory over her opponent.
Kim Knisley, at #3 singles, nearly picked up a win, losing in three sets, while
Hannah Swiger, at #5 singles, also took her opponent to the full three sets before losing.
