Competing in its second American Mideast Conference match of the season, the Malone University women's tennis team lost an 8-1 decision at Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College on Saturday afternoon.
Julianna Blaisdell earned the team's only win on the day as she collected a 6-3, 6-4 victory at #6 singles. Blaisdell and
Stephanie Prasnal nearly pocketed a win at #3 doubles but lost by a score of 8-6.
With the loss, Malone's overall record now stands at 1-9 while its AMC mark fell to 0-2. Roberts Wesleyan improved to 11-3 overall and to 2-1 in AMC play.
