Pioneer Women's Tennis Team Loses Tough 6-3 Battle To Findlay

Lauren Armbrust (along with teammate Kaley Kahoun) earned an 8-4 victory at #2 doubles in Malone's hard-fought 6-3 loss to visiting University of Findlay on Saturday.

The Malone University women's tennis team battled hard in a match against NCAA Div. II University of Findlay on Saturday but came up short in a 6-3 loss to the Oilers at the Towpath Racquet Club in Akron, Ohio. With the loss, the Pioneers dropped to 0-2 on the season while the Oilers won their 2011 spring season opener.

Hannah Swiger, at #5, and Julianna Blaisdell, at #6, earned the singles victories for Malone while Kaley Kahoun and Lauren Armbrust, at #2, earned the lone Pioneer doubles win on the day.
