The Malone University women's tennis team, led by first-year head coach Tim Springirth, competed at NCAA Div. III Oberlin College on Saturday afternoon, but lost to the Yeowomen by the score of 9-0 in the 2011 season opener for the Pioneers.

With the loss, Malone is now 0-1 on the season while Oberlin improved to 2-3 on the year.
