Smith delivered the game-winning goal on Friday night in the Pioneers' thrilling 2-1 road victory against Davenport (MI) University.  As the contest appeared to be headed to overtime with just over three minutes remaining in the second half, the 5'7 forward broke the 1-1 stalemate by blasting a long shot over the reach of the Panther keeper and into the right corner of the net.  

Smith, a freshman from Perry High School in Canton, has now tallied three goals and two assists on the year for a team-high eight points.
