At the Ashland University Alumni Open on Saturday, Legrair automatically qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in the 110-meter hurdles after finishing second in the event in a time of 14.71 seconds.  This impressive performance marked the fourth-fastest outdoor 110-meter hurdle time ever posted in the history of the Malone men's track & field program.
