2016: Lau played in all 34 matches, appearing in 110 sets...Finished third on the team with 234 kills...Tallied 143 digs, 19 blocks, 18 service aces, and eight assists...Recorded four double-doubles...Set a season-high with 15 kills against Trevecca Nazarene (9/24/16)...Tied that mark with 15 kills to go along with a season-high 14 digs in a win at Davis & Elkins (11/12/16)
Prior to Malone: During her decorated high school career, Lau was named Third Team All-Ohio and First Team All-District. She was a three-time All-League Selection and was twice named Stark County Volleyball Player of the Year. Lau finished 2nd in career kills at Tuslaw where she led the Mustangs to a Principals Athletic Conference (PAC-8) Championship as a senior. In addition to volleyball, Lau was a basketball standout and set the school record in career three-pointers. Academically, Lau was a four-year member of the Honor Roll and a recipient of the OHSBCA Scholarship Award.
