Biography

2017-18: Played in all 29 games, including 28 starts as a senior at Malone, averaging a team-high 33.2 minutes per game…Totaled 579 points (20.0 ppg), 163 rebounds (5.6 rpg), 120 assists (4.1 apg), 43 steals, and five blocked shots…Led Malone in scoring, assists, steals, and three-pointers (94)…Shot 42.2% (173-of-410) from the field, 41.0% (94-of-229) from three, and 82.2% (139-of-169) at the free throw line…Reached double digits in 27 of 29 games and scored at least 20 points on 14 occasions and 30 or more three times…Recorded a career-high 41 points at nationally-ranked Findlay (12/9/17)…Collected three doubles (points & rebounds) and pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds on two separate occasions…Handed out a season-high eight assists twice, including a 24-point, 8-assist effort at Alderson Broaddus (1/27/18) in which he hit the game-winning jumper with five seconds left in an 86-85 double-overtime win…Needed just 56 games to reach 1,000 career points, accomplishing the milestone during the final game of the season…Ranked first in the G-MAC in three-pointers per game (3.2), third in scoring, fourth in free throws, fourth in steals, fourth in three-point percentage, fifth in minutes and fifth in assists…One of only five players in NCAA DII to average at least 20 points, five rebounds and four assists…Named G-MAC All-Conference First Team

2016-17: Jordan had an outstanding first season with the Pioneers, starting all 27 games and leading Malone with 32.2 minutes per contest…Led Malone with 426 points (15.8 ppg), 153 assists (5.7 apg), and 73 three-pointers…Also collected 112 rebounds, 47 steals, and five blocked shots…Led the G-MAC in assists, three-pointers, and assist-to-turnover ratio (2.0)…Finished 3rd in the conference in steals and fifth in scoring…Made at least one three-pointer in 26 of 27 games…Reached double digits in scoring 24 times and recorded seven 20-point games…Scored a season-high 28 points vs. NCAA DII #7 Kentucky Wesleyan in the G-MAC semifinal tying a season-high with seven (7-of-9) three-pointers…Registered a season-high five steals in the same contest…Posted three double-doubles…Handed out a season-high 11 assists vs. Central state (1/18/17) and vs. Cedarville (2/11/17)…Hauled in a season-high eight rebounds at Davis & Elkins (2/22/17)…Only player in the conference, one of two in the Midwest Region, and one of six in DII to average at least 15 points, five assists, and four rebounds a game…Named G-MAC All-Conference First Team

Prior to Malone: Jordan transferred to Malone after playing his freshman and sophomore seasons at NJCAA Hesston College (KS). In his two seasons with the Larks, Jordan played in 60 games and was named All-Region. As a sophomore, he averaged 16.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. During his high school career, Jordan was a member of the 2013 squad that captured the Texas 5A State Championship. Ty plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice at Malone.
