GREENVILLE, S.C. - For the second time this season, the NCCAA has published its cross country stat report. The Malone University men's cross country team is ranked second in the NCCAA and the women's cross country team is fourth.

For the Pioneer men, their most recent event, the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic, is the only eligible event of a distance of 8K or higher. They ran a team time of 2:10:18 and are just over one minute back from number one Mid-America Christian University (2:09:03). Individually, five Malone student-athletes are inside the top nine in the NCCAA, led by
Wyatt Royster with an 8K time of 25:39.1.
Xander Heil (fourth),
Alex Hill (seventh),
Yahya Jawadi (eighth) and
Andrew Bugner (ninth) are the other Pioneers listed.

The women's team improved their team time of 1:41:59 in a converted 5K from the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic, but dropped several positions in the stat report. Azusa Pacific University are atop the standings at 1:35:45.
Karrah Singleton (19:49) and
Rachel Whetstone (20:06) are ninth and tenth among the NCCAA women in their converted times.

Malone will compete in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Preview meet at Tiffin University on Friday, September 25 beginning at 6:00 P.M.
