FOSTORIA, Ohio - The Malone University women's golf team finished 7th of 13 teams on the final day of the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria Country Club. This was a B-team tournament for the Pioneers. Malone shot a total score of 684 on the final day of competition. The Ohio Northern Polar Bears placed first with a total score of 613.

Claire Hostetler shot a career collegiate-low 74 to lead the Pioneers in round two. Annie Johnston notched an 84 in 18 holes for Malone. She had two birdies on holes 6 and 16 on the final day. Hostetler added three birdies on holes 8,15, and 16 for the Pioneers. Individually, Hostetler placed tied for 2nd overall and Johnston tied for 22nd. Hostetler earned All-Tournament Team honors for Malone. 
 

Mary Helber shot a 98 on day two of competition for Malone. Ella Ridgway shot an 87 for the Pioneers. Ridgway added birdies on holes 12 and 16. 

The Pioneers red-team will return to action on Thursday, September 17th, at the Walsh Fall Invitational at Glenmoor Country Club.
