CANTON, Ohio - Newly appointed head coach of the Malone University swimming & diving program
Delaney Ferrell has released the upcoming 2026-27 schedule for the team.

The Pioneers will take place in eight events, some of them spanning multiple days of competition in the pool. The year starts with a two-day meet, the Oberlin Early Invite on October 9-10. The first home meet of the season will come against The College of Wooster later that month on October 31.

The Malone Invitational will mark the biggest home event of 2026-27 on November 19-21. Three days and six sessions inside of C.T. Branin Natatorium will see a variety of teams from across different levels of the NCAA come together to compete one last time in the fall semester. Both the men's and women's teams placed eighth last season among 29 other teams.

Leading up to the conference championship meet, the Pioneers will be in action throughout the month of January. The program will celebrate the senior class on Saturday, January 9 when Davis & Elkins College visits Canton. From there, Malone returns to Oberlin College for the Oberlin Quad Meet on January 16. Duel meets at Baldwin Wallace University (January 23) and Hiram College (January 30) are the final two regular season competitions of the year.

The Mountain East Conference (MEC) will play host to a joint conference championship meet with the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) on February 10-13. The 2026-27 Great Midwest / Mountain East Swimming & Diving Championship will be held in Morgantown, West Virginia for the first time after a long stint in the city of Canton.
