FRISCO, Texas - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) have announced the recipients of the All-American Scholar distinction. The Malone University women's golf team had four individuals qualify for the national academic award.

Graduating seniors
Erin Strouse and
Maria Warner as well as sophomores
Kaylyn Henson and
Claire Hostetler met the qualifications to become WGCA All-American Scholars. Strouse is now a four-time All-American Scholar while Warner (three-time) and Hostetler (two-time) add to their impressive career totals.

To be selected, a student-athlete must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
