CANTON, Ohio - The Malone University men's soccer team prepares to kick off the 2026 season under the direction of fifth-year head coach
Bill Lawrence. The Pioneers ended at 3-11-3 one season ago and were 3-8-3 inside the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC).

The 2026 campaign begins with a pair of home matches against non-conference opponents. Malone welcomes Salem University to Pioneer Park on Thursday, August 27 followed by a senior day contest versus California University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 5.

The homestand continues for the Pioneers on September 10 with their first G-MAC match against Thomas More University. Malone is on the road for back-to-back games from there at Tiffin University on September 12 and at Cedarville University on September 17. The Pioneers return home on Saturday, September 19 for their 2026 Homecoming and Family Weekend match against Lake Erie College.

Men's soccer leaves the state for the first time with a trip to the Bluegrass State on September 24 (at Kentucky Wesleyan College) and September 26 (at Thomas More University). The Pioneers and Panthers will turn around and play once more on October 1, this time in Canton, Ohio.

A string of road matches begins with the team's final non-conference affair of the year at Salem on October 3. Malone returns to conference play at Lake Erie on October 8 and at the University of Findlay on October 10.

Four of the final five regular season matches will be contested at home, beginning with Ashland University on October 13. The final road contest will be at Walsh University on October 17, then three in a row on home soil: October 22 versus Ohio Dominican University, October 24 against Northwood University and a rivalry game against the Walsh Cavaliers on October 27.
