WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Nic Williams has been selected as a First Team All-Midwest Region honoree in the NCCAA for his performance for the Malone University men's basketball team in 2025-26.
 
The junior guard from La Crosse, Wisconsin helped to lead Malone to a 24-24 overall record. It is his first NCCAA All-Region award and Williams is the sixth Pioneer men's basketball student-athlete to secure First Team All-Midwest Region since returning to the association in 2021-22. He was also a Scholar-Athlete in the NCCAA this season.
 
Williams led the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game and sank 36.2% of his attempts from beyond the three-point line. Williams' 2.3 made three-point shots per contest is inside the top-25 in the NCCAA as an individual. He also tallied 3.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
 
His status on the NCCAA First Team qualifies him for the NCCAA All-American ballot to be released in the near future.
