HILLSDALE, Mich. - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships are underway at Hillsdale College. There are six completed events thus far between the men's and women's standings with the Malone University track & field teams participating in four of those.
 
In the 10,000-meter run, the Pioneer men were led by Alex Hill with a time of 31:40.52 (13th). In the women's race, Carolyn Miller was the top finisher for Malone at 39:44.45, good for 15th.
 
Representing the Pioneers in field events were Jaclyn Jundzilo and Obed West in the hammer throw. Jundzilo was 16th with a best toss of 36.92 meters (121' 1.00") and West placed 21st at 47.20 meters (154' 10.00"), a mark that just missed his personal best.
 
The G-MAC Championships continue on Thursday, April 30 beginning at 9:00 A.M.
