GREENVILLE, S.C. - The NCCAA has selected Yahya Jawadi as the Athlete of the Week for men's track this week after his performance in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the University of Mount Union. The award is powered by Athletic Solutions.
 
The Siracusa, Italy native won the event with a time of 10:02.97. He is currently the third-fastest competitor in the NCCAA in the 3000-meter steeplechase this season and will compete for an NCCAA Championship in two weeks.
 
Up next, Jawadi and the rest of the Malone University track & field teams will be in action at the 2026 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championship beginning on Wednesday, April 29 at Hillsdale College.
