FLORENCE, Ind. - The Malone University women's golf team maintained their fourth-place spot at the Belterra Classic on Tuesday. The Pioneers shot 333 as a team to finish the three-round event with a total of 1005 (345-327-333).

Ashland University won the event after they picked up 34 strokes on the field in the third round alone. The Eagles finished the tournament at 906 (311-307-288).

Maria Warner was the highest-placing Malone student-athlete in 17th after she fired a 248 (86-82-80). She improved in every round and started the third round with a birdie.
Addison Burris was inside the top-20 as well in 19th with a score of 251 (84-79-88).

The highlight of the day for the Pioneers was
Kaylyn Henson. She had a career-low round of 74 in round three with one birdie and 13 pars. She concluded the tournament in a tie for 21st at 253 (94-85-74).
Erin Strouse was in that tie as well with a 253 (81-81-91).

Malone will be in action once again on Friday, April 3 in an event close to home in the Mount Union Spring Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Club.
