INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Malone University softball team saw Sidney Conti receive the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Softball Position Player of the Week award for her performances in the first four conference games of the year where Malone started 3-1.
 
The junior utility player from Munroe Falls, Ohio batted .727 on the week at 8-for-11 with starts in all four games. Conti tied for the team lead with four RBIs and scored two runs, had two doubles and walked twice. The highlight for Conti was a 4-for-4 effort in game two against the University of Findlay.
 
The Pioneers are back on the field on Friday, March 27 at Thomas More University. The action begins at Mason Softball Complex at 11:00 A.M.
