INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Freshman pitcher
Ashton Snyder was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week after his start against Hillsdale College on Saturday. It is his first career athlete of the week honor.

Snyder, a native of Creston, Ohio, pitched eight shutout innings on the road and allowed just five hits and four walks. He struck out three batters over the course of his outing. He faced 32 batters and this was his longest outing of his young career.
