CANTON, Ohio - The 2025-26 Great Midwest / Mountain East Swimming & Diving Championship continued on Wednesday with another day of competition. The University of Findlay expanded upon their lead in both men's and women's competition. The Malone University men's swimming & diving teams stayed steady in eighth and the women's team moved up one spot to sixth.

Ashtyn Rickel had the best individual finish of the day in 14th in the B-finals of the 400-yard individual medley (4:54.83). The freshman set a new personal record in the prelims with a time of 4:51.47, a mark that improves upon her sixth-place time in school history.

Elizabeth Lane also moved up in the record books with a 16th-place finish in the B-finals of the 100-yard butterfly. Lane had a time of 1:00.84 in the event finals and her time of 1:00.09 in the prelims is the fourth-best mark in school history.

There were three point scorers for the Pioneer men.
Elisha Thompkins swam a 1:45.69 to place 18th in the C-finals of the 200-yard freestyle. In the 400-yard individual medley,
Lincoln Rickleff (4:40.63) and
Carson Letchworth (4:41.11) were 23rd and 24th and competed in the C-finals.

The 400-yard medley relay team of Rickel,
Ann-Katherine Burns,
Lauryn Ebersole and Lane finished eighth (4:11.27) and the men's team of
Landon Sutter,
Seth McMillen, Thompkins and
Dylan Yoder were one spot better in seventh (3:37.19).

Allea Graves competed in the 3-meter dive and in her championship event debut, had a score of 293.55. Graves was fifth overall.

The conference championship event marches on beginning on Thursday, February 12 at C.T. Branin Natatorium. Prelims begin at 10:00 A.M. and finals at 6:00 P.M.
