CANTON, Ohio - After three of four days at the 2025-26 Great Midwest / Mountain East Swimming & Diving Championship, the Malone University women's swimming & diving program is seventh and men eighth. The University of Findlay maintained their lead in the team standings and look to carry that momentum into the final day of competition.

The Pioneers received their first individual A-finalist in
Ann-Katherine Burns. Burns swam a time of 1:09.42 in the 100-yard breaststroke A-final, but her preliminary mark of 1:08.87 is a new personal record and improves upon her sixth-fastest time in program history.

In the men's 100-yard breaststroke,
Seth McMillen swam a time of 54.34 seconds in the B-finals to claim 14th place. His time improves his eighth-best time in school history. Malone also saw
Lincoln Rickleff swim a 1:02.82 in the C-finals, good for 23rd overall.

Ashtyn Rickel and
Landon Sutter competed in the 100-yard backstroke B-finals for the Pioneers. Rickel was 16th at 1:01.18 and Sutter 13th with a time of 54.24 seconds. Each of them put together a new personal best, Rickel's is fourth in school history and Sutter sixth.

There were four scoring members in the 500-yard freestyle, including a trio of men's student-athletes.
Leander Stuart was 21st (5:09.01),
Tillman Hawk 22nd (5:12.65) and
Brady Porter 24th (5:15.43). In the women's C-final,
Danielle Ketler swam a 5:33.08 to finish 24th overall.

The lone relay team to reach the podium was the men's 4x800-yard freestyle relay squad. Hawk, Stuart,
Carter Anderson and Porter were eighth in the event with a time of 7:57.85 in the event finals.

The conference championship meet concludes on Friday, February 13 with prelims at 10:00 A.M. and finals beginning at 5:30 P.M. with the senior day ceremony at 5:00 P.M.
