INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) along with the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) have announced the schedule for the 2026 Midwest Region Crossover. The Malone University volleyball team will compete in three matches on October 16 and 17 at the Hammond Sportsplex in Hammond, Indiana.
 
The Pioneers open play on October 16 at 9:00 A.M. CST against William Jewell College. The Cardinals are 3-15 overall this season. The teams last met at the 2024 Quincy University Hawk Invitational and Malone is 0-5 against William Jewell in the NCAA Division II era.
 
McKendree University will be the Pioneers' second opponent. The two sides will square off at 7:00 P.M. CST. The Bearcats (2-16 this season) and Malone have faced off in each of the last four Midwest Region Crossover events, but McKendree has taken all of those contests. Malone is 1-6 in since 2012 against McKendree.
 
The final opponent for the Pioneers is Lake Superior State University from the GLIAC. The Lakers enter the weekend at 4-14. Malone and Lake Superior State last met at the 2023 Midwest Region Crossover, a year where the slate for the Pioneers had these same three opponents. The Lakers won that contest, but Malone is 5-2 in the series.
