CANTON, Ohio - Immediately following the conclusion of the indoor season, the Malone University track & field program will begin the outdoor campaign, beginning on March 21.

The Pioneers will make the short trip to the University of Mount Union on that date to compete in the Stark County Challenge. The team makes two other return trips to Alliance for the John Homon Open on April 11 and Mount Union Classic on April 23.

The first outdoor road trip of the season comes for the VertKlasse Meeting at High Point University. That event is on April 2-3. Another NCAA Division I meet comes in the form of the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University on April 11. The last remaining regular season meet for Malone is the Sparky Adams Invitational on April 18. That will take place at Baldwin Wallace University.

The postseason kicks off for the Pioneers at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Championships on April 30 through May 2. The 2026 championship meet will be held at Hillsdale College. The Pioneers also have the opportunity to qualify for the NCCAA Outdoor Championships on May 6-8 at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. Student-athletes could also qualify for additional NCAA postseason events pending results from the season.
