FINDLAY, Ohio - The Malone University track & field program sent their throwing group to the Findlay Alumni Classic on Friday afternoon to face talented competition from northwest Ohio.
Â
The Pioneer women were led by freshman

Â
On the men's side,
Gavin Tribelo and
Aidan Mastaso both had great performances. Tribelo was third in the shot put at 14.59 meters (47' 10.50") and sixth in the weight throw at 14.77 meters (48' 5.50"). Mastaso claimed a sixth-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 13.20 meters (43' 3.75"). All three scores were enough to be eligible for the NCCAA Championship meet.
