CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Three Malone University women's golfers were selected as All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) for the 2024-25 academic year. These individuals were freshman
Claire Hostetler, junior
Erin Strouse and sophomore
Maria Warner.
Strouse is now a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar and Warner has received the award in both of her seasons with the program. In just her first year with Malone women's golf, Hostetler is off to a good start with her first WGCA All-American Scholar award of her career.
Nearly 1,500 collegiate women's golfers from 403 programs were recognized with this prestigious honor. In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 or higher grade point average, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and compete in 50% of the team's scheduled competitive rounds throughout the year.
