ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University is hosting the 2025 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday, April 30 through Friday, May 2.
 
Tickets are available through the G-MAC TICKETING SITE. Cash will NOT be accepted at the venue. The G-MAC Championships will be streamed live and free on the GREAT MIDWEST DIGITAL NETWORK.
 
The Pioneers have several student-athletes who will look to score for the team. Hayden Schmidt finished fifth in the 1500-meter finals and sixth in the 5000-meter run at last year's event championship event. Me'zel Square-Ward was also a top finisher for the Pioneers in the triple jump with a sixth-place finish one season ago and Alex Swinehart was sixth in the decathlon. On the women's side, Kylee Gray finished 11th in the 10,000-meter run and looks to improve upon her performance this year.
 
Malone has had many student-athletes win Athlete of the Week awards and break into the top-ten in program history in their events. Some of those include Allea Graves, Xander Heil, Alex Hill, Jaclyn Jundzilo, Gavin Tribelo and Rylee Yocum. All of these athletes will be in search of success at the outdoor championships as well.
