04/22/25

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has announced the bracket for the 2025 Great Midwest Women's Lacrosse Championships. The Malone University women's lacrosse team will face the University of Findlay on Saturday, April 26 at 12:00 P.M.

The game will be streamed on the Great Midwest Digital Network and live stats available through Findlay's athletic website. Tickets will be sold at the gate: $10 for adults, $5 for children, and students and infants are free.

The Pioneers earned the six seed and have made the conference tournament for the first time in program history. Malone finished the regular season with a 10-8 overall record and 3-5 mark in conference play. Findlay is 7-10, but held a 6-2 record in G-MAC play.

The first time these two teams met, the Oilers were victorious by a score of 13-5. A late flurry by Findlay widened the gap, but for a majority of the contest, the score was within a handful of goals. Cam English had a team-high three points with one goal and two assists.

English set a new program record for the most points (70) and goals scored (48) in a season. Abbey Burns secured the top mark for most assists in a season with 25 thus far, and has 65 total points. Emma Weintz has a team-high 60 draw controls for the Pioneers. In goal, Sommer-Jo Grieser has made 102 saves in her 18 games played.
