LILBURN, Ga. - The 10-1 Malone University women's basketball team fell to #19 in the most recent Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) coaches poll. The Pioneers lost their first game of the season last week at the California University of Pennsylvania, 72-61.
Â
The defeat is harmless when it comes to play in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) as the team will enter the new year with a 4-0 record in the league.
Erin Kaufman finds herself among the individual leaders in several statistical categories in the G-MAC. She is fourth in scoring (17.5 points per game), third in rebounding (9.1 rebounds per game), fifth in field goal percentage (49.6%), and second in free throw percentage (87.1%).

There is one final non-conference game for Malone against Bryant & Stratton College on Tuesday, December 30 at 5:30 P.M. The remainder of the regular season will come against conference competition.
