GREENVILLE, S.C. – The NCCAA has released the latest iteration of the Stat Report for the cross country season. Both the Malone University men's and women's cross country programs remain second in the stat report, with the NCCAA Cross Country National Championships five weeks away.
In the men's report, nothing has changed from atop the grid as Malone still has
Hayden Schmidt and
Xander Heil in fifth and sixth as individuals and the Pioneers take five of the top 13 slots. The Cedarville University women improved upon their team time at the Louisville Classic, but the Malone women were not overtaken.
Kristin Yeager was pushed down one spot to ninth with her best time of the year at the Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic.
Most recently, the Pioneers were in action at the YSU Invitational #2. Both teams placed third and that event and Malone was led by Yeager for the women and
Wyatt Royster for the men. Up next for the Pioneers is a huge race for regional rankings at the Lewis Crossover on Saturday, October 11.
