INDIANA, Pa. – The Malone men's golf team hit the road for the 59th Annual Cecil C. Spadafora Invitational at Indiana Country Club, a two-day event hosted by IUP.
The Pioneers posted an overall two-day score of (+24) 592 which was good enough for fourth place. IUP won the event with a score of (-4) 564
Gunnar McCollins won individual medalist honors following a three-player playoff that also included IUP's Aidan LeBlanc and Charleston's Paul Sanchez. All three competitors finished with identical rounds of 70 each day, finishing the tournament at -2 overall.
With this victory, Gunnar notched his fifth first-place finish of the season, solidifying his dominance on the course. Meanwhile,
Jake Shingledecker showcased commendable performance for the Pioneers, securing a respectable 26th overall finish amidst a field brimming with talented golfers.

What's Next
Malone has concluded its regular season and will play in the G-MAC Championships. The event takes place Apr 22-23 at the Pearl Golf club in Owensboro, KY.
